It’s showtime in gobstopper-land, with two great shows in March and April.
Next weekend, I’ll be at the Peterborough Fibre Arts Festival here in Peterborough, Ontario. This is a great show: big enough to provide lots of shopping and chatting and learning opportunities, but relaxed enough that you don’t have to fight your way through crowds. It’s Saturday, 18 March from 10 am to 4 pm at the Wellness Centre (775 Brealey Drive).
And if you can’t make it in person, the next update here on my website will be Sat. 25 March at 4pm Eastern time. Provided that the crowds in Peterborough don’t snag every single gobstopper the weekend before… (Don’t worry; I’ll make sure there are at least a few left!)
Then in April I’ll be at the Toronto Knitters’ Frolic, a terrific show with an incredible and very busy marketplace; last year, I sold out by 11 am! I’ll bring as much as I possibly can this year, but do stop by early-ish if you can– I’ll be in the indigodragonfly booth (S-29). The show is at the Japanese Cultural Centre and the marketplace is open on Saturday, 29 April from 9 am to 4:30 pm.
I hope you’ll stop by at one of these shows to say hi, check out sample knits in various gobstopper bases, and of course browse for a gobstopper or two (or three, or…) of your own!
